We encountered an issue with licensing, apparently:
DB2Exception: ERROR [42968] [IBM] SQL1598N An attempt to connect to the database server failed because of a licensing problem. SQLSTATE=42968 [IBM] SQL1598N An attempt to connect to the database server failed because of a licensing problem. SQLSTATE=42968
I have attempted to follow the labyrinth that is IBM support to attempt to get the proper license file, but seem to be stuck at a dead end.

Free drum wav samples. My first question is this, which I can't seem to get answered with a straight answer.. If I have DB2 on the iSeries, do I have to purchase some other piece of software (such as DB2 Connect, which I still don't know exactly what this is or what it does), or should I have the right to access that DB2 on the iSeries data via this .NET Core package mentioned above?

If the answer is no, no other software should be required to be purchased.. how to do I get that license? IBM support is asking for a site ID, which according to their records, our company has 127 site IDs, but the site ID I got from our IT dept (who don't seem to know exactly what they're looking for, either) doesn't have any licensed software associated with it. The only site ID that they have for our company at our company's HQ zip code they say is 'inactive'. So, I have been going around and around with various departments at IBM.eCustomerCare, Partner World, IBM SERV with no resolution to this.
Could someone help me understand what is required and why IBM is making this so hard to access our own server??
Thanks in advance for any help you can provide..
