Draw on Air, see it on your device and mirror to the TV in this hysterical new way to play Pictionary™, the classic family drawing game.
Use the special Pictionary Air™ pen (sold separately) to draw in the air while the app tracks and displays the sketch. Become part of the action as you interact with your sketch, like charades, while your team tries to guess as many clues as they can before time is up!
The app will track your scores, time the game and set the rounds for easy-to-use gameplay. You can also save, edit and share videos of all your funny gameplay moments!
Use an Apple TV to mirror the game to your TV!
There are two game modes:
- Play mode lets you choose the length and number of rounds.
- Selfie mode lets you sketch your Air masterpiece without a timer.

Two bugs, then perfect
1) Enable a landscape mode in app. When screen mirroring via Apple TV, majority of TV is wasted by portrait-only mode.
2) Enable auto save to Camera Roll. By having to manually select that, and wait for entire clip to finishing playing&saving within app before video is available within Apple's Camera Roll, time is wasted.
A lot works well now, so four stars, then five when those enhancements are in place. Thank you.

If you want a drawing app similar to Pictionary, for free, without some gimmicky 20$ pen, go for a game like ‘Draw Something’.
Is this seriously what replaced the free Pictionary app made by Etermax? Mattel had it closed down and its support cut so they could make people buy their special hunk of plastic and cards?
The Etermax Pictionary had a multiplayer function that let you play with anyone who owned the app - with a quickdraw mode that had you draw and guess as fast as you could, and a mode that let you take as much time as you wanted on the drawing. It actually resulted in a lot of really cool works of art, but now that server support has been cut, a lot of really beautiful drawings that were saved with the gallery function have been lost to the void. There was a fun unlockable set of drawing tools that gave a sense of achievement for playing the game, with levels to gain, a chat function that let you talk to friends, now all eliminated in favor of a game that, let’s be honest, is going to be played about ten times and then forgotten like all other party games. Having a lot of fun with this, but I will echo others comments. Please do not respond with the generic thanks for the honest feedback. No one cares just get the developers to create a landscape mode for the game!!!
